  • First off I want to say great blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you
do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and
clear your thoughts prior to writing. I’ve
had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting
my thoughts out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
    Many thanks!

    • Hi Jarred, thanks for your kind words about my blog, and also for your question. Funnily enough today I have been doing everything BUT the writing I’m supposed to be doing! Getting thoughts in order is not always easy that blank piece of “paper” (sometimes for me it still is) mocks me quite often! I have so many thoughts gong on at once it can get exhausting! I find getting up and walking around with music in the background and letting my mind just drift helps me sort through my thoughts and gets the framework of the blog in order, then it’s easier to write. At other times, it’s simply just writing anything! even when at the end of the day that first paragraph will end up in the rubbish bin! it seems to get the thoughts flowing. (sometimes it really is writing “this is rubbish but at least I’m starting” 🙂 thanks again for your comments, hope this helps. All my best Shelly
